Hi Laser Lovers! In today's video, I'm showing 2 different clients receiving a laser hair removal treatment on their face. These women are 2 different skin tones (on the darker side) so they both required the use of the Nd:YAG wavelength on my Candela GentleMax Pro. This laser has two different wavelength settings which allows for safe and effective treatments on all skin types. Because my medspa is in Miami, I am constantly treating various skin types so this laser makes it very easy for me. Switching between wavelengths is as easy as just tapping a button! Laser hair removal on the face is just a 15 minute appointment. The actual laser treatment is usually less than 5 minutes for this. I always wipe the skin down with a baby wipe prior to treatment (or a full wash if they have makeup on) and finish the treatment with some 1% hydrocortisone cream and and SPF! Results are visible within 2 weeks of the first treatment and tend to improve hyperpigmentation, ingrown hair and overall texture of the skin. Hi Laser Lovers! A lot of women suffer from excessive facial hair. Getting rid of embarrassing facial hair boost's women's (and some men's) self esteem and improves the tone and texture of their skin from the very first treatment! These 2 women came in for facials a couple of weeks prior to starting laser hair removal.
